What's DECA Camp???
Each summer, Ohio DECA sponsors a three-day leadership retreat for both new and returning DECA members to get away from it all, make lifelong friendships, and grow and individuals, team members, and leaders. Licking Heights DECA has participated in this fantastic opportunity since 2008.
The Ohio DECA Summer Leadership Retreat (DECA Camp) is designed to build a camper’s leadership skills through various small group activities, teamwork exercises, co-initiative small ropes course, inspirational speakers, mock competition, informational workshops, and social events. Ohio is proud to be the ONLY state association in all of DECA to host a summer leadership retreat to help its members continue to grow, remain engaged, and prepare for upcoming year!
DECA Camp is held in mid-July at FFA Camp Muskingum in Carrollton, OH.
